Successful Candidate:

•  Supervises cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
• Is responsible for over seeing the following functions: project controls; cost estimating; scheduling; cost reporting; and earned value
• Identifies cost trends for management attention
• Is responsible for cost engineering, cost estimating, and cost analysis/control activities for the project.
• Is Responsible for developing and maintaining the control budgets / establishing the cost baselines for project activities and reporting of actuals against established budgets
• Will Plan, monitor, maintain, and control the development of the project cost reporting requirements including: the WBS, the baseline control budget, management of committed funding, forecast to go and forecast cost at completion; and reporting of variance there from and generation of cash flows.
• Manage scope change; change to forecast via trends; administration of proposed and approved baseline changes; impact on schedule; administration of project risks and cost consequences; and recommendation of adjustment to contingency.

 Required Qualifications:

• Education: BA Finance or Engineering; Advance degree preferred
• Experience: 10 years of senior level financial/cost/project control experience with project related work within the nuclear industry. Decommissioning experience preferred.
• Skills:Working conditions are normal for an office environment and will require performance of activities in a construction environment including the use of personal protective equipment and respiratory protection. Position may require occasional weekend and evening work. May be exposed to radiation within occupational limits

 Duration:

• Upon award, the anticipated assignment is Long Term 12+ Months (potential for direct hire).

 Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in technical field.  Comprehensive NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E training.
• 10 years experience performing AC and DC calculations to demonstrate compliance with NFPA 70 and 70E, or similar electrical related calculations.
• Candidate must possess excellent written and communicating skills for both technical and non technical audiences. 
• Candidate must be able to demonstrate theoretical and practical competency in performing AC and DC calculations per NFPA and other industry standards.
