			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>TradeWind Services, LLC is recruiting candidates for the position of Mechanical Engineer. Successful candidate will be work with other Mechanical Engineers and Designers in developing piping and jumper designs in accordance with ASME B31.3.  These tasks will include generating piping stress analyses using AutoPIPE, assessing fluid transient impacts on piping systems, accessing tank farms to verify the field condition of new and existing designs, and developing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for facility modifications and new fabrication drawings for new jumper designs.  The job duties will involve originating and checking of design deliverables, as well as coordinating with internal and external organizations to ensure high quality design deliverables are completed within the allotted budget and schedule.</p>
<p>Required Qualifications:</p>
<p>•	BS in Mechanical Engineer<br />
•	One (1) to six (6) years of design and requirements related experience.<br />
•	Minimum one (1) year nuclear experience at a DOE facility, or Navy or commercial nuclear power plant experience or a combination of these.<br />
•	Minimum of one (1) year of ASME B31.3 Piping Design Experience<br />
•	Hanford or other DOE site experience desired. </p>
<p>Desirable Qualifications:</p>
<p>•	Experience with Fluid Transient Analysis is desirable<br />
•	Previous experience with AutoPIPE is desirable<br />
•	Tank Farm Walk Down certification is desirable<br />
•	Previous Hanford experience developing Engineering Change Notices is desirable.<br />
•	Previous experience working under NQA-1 program is desirable.<br />
•	Must be a self-starter and a have positive teamwork attitude.<br />

<li><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Construction of Environmental Restoration Disposal Facility (ERDF) Cells 9 &amp; 10 – Washington Closure Hanford</span></strong></li>
</ol>
<p>In 2010, TradeWind won a competitively  bid contract for the construction of two 17-acre triple lined cells for the disposal of low-level radioactive waste.  Major items or work include:</p>
<div>·      Approximately 1,500,000 cy of excavation</div>
<div>·      A liner system comprised of a soil bentonite liner 3.0 ft. deep (approximately 90,000 cy),</div>
<div>·      A double HDPE geomembrane liner 60 mils each, with secondary and primary leachate collection recovery systems between the two HDPE liners consisting of approximately 40,000 cy of gravel which we will process with our screening plants on site and an HDPE piping network within the gravel layers for operations.</div>
<div>·      Over this lining system was placed 100,000 cyds of operations layer, to a depth of 3.0 ft. over the 3:1 side slopes and base of the facility.</div>
<div>·      Outside the limits of the cell, this job also involves-d the construction of two pump station crest pads for the purpose of collecting the leachate from the cell, which conveys the leachate through 1,000 lf of 16-inch diameter double walled HDPE piping to a pump station, which feeds into a cross-site transfer line.</div>
<div>·      Construction was completed in March of 2011, almost seven months ahead of schedule.</div>
<div>·      All administrative and professional support was provided in support of this field contract.</div>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">WRPS Safeguards and Security (SAS) Assessment</span></strong></p>
<p>In 2009 TradeWind won a competitive procurement to perform a compliance and performance-based documented evaluation of the WRPS SAS program. </p>
<p>Deliverables Work  included:</p>
<ul>
<li>All Administrative and Professional staff support</li>
<li>Develop an outline and plan to conduct the SAS assessment using the DOE Survey/Inspection Form.</li>
<li>Evaluate elements selected for assessment against specified applicable internal and external requirements.</li>
<li>Prepare a table of requirements (or equivalent) investigated, evidence used for verification and validation, and flag as either compliant, finding, or suggestion.</li>
<li>Prepare an assessment report in accordance with TFC-OPS-EP-P-06, REV A, <em>Safeguards and Security Assessments.</em></li>
</ul>
<p><em> </em><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">618-10 Trench Remediation Planning – Washington Closure Hanford</span></strong></p>
<p>In 2009, TradeWind was awarded a contract with Washington Closure Hanford to provide engineering support for the 618-10 Trench Remediation Planning.  Work includes:</p>
<ul>
<li>The preparation of engineering calculations, engineering cost-benefit analyses, engineering design documents (including scopes of work, design specifications, and drawings).</li>
<li>All Administrative and Professional staff support.</li>
<li>The preparation of emergency preparedness hazard assessments (EPHS’s), remedial design reports and remedial actions work plans (RDR/RAWPs), data quality objectives (DQOs), sampling and analysis plans (SAPs), field investigation plans, nuclear safety documentation (including initial hazard categorizations (IHC’s), final hazard analyses (FHA’s), and authorization basis flowdown matrices), specifications and design of quipment for compliance with the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPs), preparation of air monitoring plans (AMPs), and</li>
<li>Participation and support in project readiness reviews.</li>
</ul>
<p> <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Washington River Protection Solutions Engineering Staff Support Blanket Master Agreement</span></strong></p>
<p>In October 2009 TradeWind won a multi-year, competitive solicitation to provide staff engineering assistance in support of Washington River Protection Solutions, LLC. (WRPS).</p>
<p>Typical areas of engineering support include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Design and support engineering including; Electrical/I&amp;C, Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Architectural, HVAC</li>
<li>Supply Safety Basis Support including safety basis amendments, justification for continued operations, technical justification for hazards analysis, etc. in accordance with 10CFR830.</li>
<li>Un-reviewed Safety Question (USQ) Determinations, Screens, and Applicability Assessments</li>
<li>Technical and administrative staff to support configuration management</li>
<li>Evaluation of waste status and activity</li>
<li>Technical support to Operations and Maintenance for assigned processes and tank waste streams</li>
</ul>
<div> <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">D4 Planning Contact – Washington Closure Hanford</span></strong></div>
<p>In October 2009 TradeWind won the contract to provide technical support to WCH’s D4/Interim Safe Storage projects in the areas of work planning, work control document preparation, and engineering technical support.  Work includes:</p>
<ul>
<li>All Administrative and Professional staff support</li>
<li>Walk down work sites and document exiting conditions</li>
<li>Determine risk and complexity of tasks</li>
<li>Develop planning and engineering controls</li>
<li>Plan and conduct Job Hazard Analyses</li>
<li>Prepare work control documents</li>
<li>Identify potential risks and impacts to schedule and cost</li>
<li>Interface with field supervision, safety and health, radiological controls, characterization, environmental, and waste management personnel.</li>
<li>Prepare subcontract documents, including scopes of work, technical specifications and cost estimates</li>
<li>Direct field activities in the execution of work control documents.</li>
</ul>
<p> <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Health Physics Services Subcontract, CH2M HILL Plateau Remediation Company</span></strong></p>
<p>In July of 2009, the team of DeNuke/TradeWind won a competitive procurement to provide Health Physics Support to Hanford’s plateau remediation contractor.  As a subcontractor to CHPRC, DeNuke/TradeWind will provide fully qualified individuals to perform as Contracted Radiological Control Technicians (CRCTs) and technical support to augment the current staff of Radiological Control Technicians employed at the Hanford Site.</p>

Successful candidate will provide technical and code compliance support. Individual must have demonstrated and practical experience in NFPA 70 and 70E calculations. Candidate must be an Electrical Authority having jurisdiction experience, particularly in a Doe environment. Candidates will also serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in the area of Electrical Safety and lockout/tagout. This will include the development and publication of the electrical safety and lockout/tagout chapters, and the development and conduct of electrical safety and lockout/tagout training for lab employees and others. Additional responsibilities will include conducting hazard evaluations and risk assessments using approved National Fire Protection Administration (NFPA) 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace, and Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) methodologies.</p>
<p> <strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>

<li>Bachelor degree in technical field.  Comprehensive NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E training.</li>
<li>10 years experience performing AC and DC calculations to demonstrate compliance with NFPA 70 and 70E, or similar electrical related calculations.</li>
<li>Candidate must possess excellent written and communicating skills for both technical and non technical audiences. </li>
