Government regulatory Compliance Support

TradeWind Services a Certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, located in Richland, WA is seeking to procure a Government Regulatory Compliance Support to client activities on the Hanford Site.

This position is full time (4/10s schedule), with work location in Richland, WA. (subject to change)


Government Regulatory Compliance – The highly regulated Government Contracting environment requires the mastery of a unique skill set to ensure compliance with the many federal regulations that govern contracting with the Federal Government. This skill set will capitalize on these assets to support its regulatory requirements to:

  • Support the establishment and maintenance of compliant regulatory practices
  • Provide guidance and consultation to management
  • Support Cost Accounting Standard Compliance and Administration
  • Develop and submit Changes in Accounting Practice
  • Maintain Disclosure Statement
  • Audit and Compliance Oversight
  • Establish and maintain compliant pricing practices
  • Establish and maintain industry rates practices
  • Provide expertise in regulatory compliance, business processes, and practices
  • Identify logical business improvement opportunities consistent with customer strategic planning guidance, principles, and practices
  • Coordinate and maintain the client Disclosure Statement
  • Provide oversight and guidance on all proposal activities from a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) perspective
  • Provide expertise in audit compliance, expertise in evaluation of audit requests and ensure client provides accurate, appropriate responses to audit requests
  • Ensure pricing practices are compliant with regulatory requirements and properly reflect client cost structure
  • Ensure clients annual and revised indirect rates packages are compliant with regulatory requirements for any contract type and agency
  • Act as technical lead of the Business Operations Change Control Board (BOCCB)
  • The BOCCB is accountable for the review and approval of all client rates including labor rates, fringe rates, usage-based service rates, and all predetermined indirect rates (Forward Priced and Non-Forward Priced)
  • The board is also responsible for the review, approval, reporting and tracking of changes in procurement and accounting practices, ensuring a current and accurate Accounting Disclosure Statement, and compliance with applicable regulations
  • The board reviews and approves business operations process policies and procedures along with other business matters as required


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 25 years of experience
  • Experience in FAR, DEAR, CAS and FASB
  • Certified Internal Auditor, Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)
  • Certified Government Audit Professional
  • Working familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills


Duration is from date of award through 9/30/2019 with potential to extend.
