JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Interface Management Specialist, performing as the company program, project, and technical representative in the Interface Management organization
  • Responsible for services associated with interfaces between client and other Hanford contractors (OHCs). This includes developing, interpreting, and maintaining contractor interface documents per the terms, and implementing requirements: Requirements Sources and Implementing Documents, J3, Hanford Site Services and Interface Requirements Document, J13, Hanford Site Structure List, and J14, Hanford Waste Site Assignment List ; and Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Administrative Interface Agreements (AIAs), Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs), Service Delivery Documents (SDDs) and others as applicable
  • Ensure interface management issues and reporting requirements (e.g. Business Cases; Infrastructure and Services Alignment Plan; etc.) are identified, captured, and resolved in an expeditious manner while fostering an amicable relationship with other Hanford contractors (OHCs) and our DOE-RL counterparts
  • Act as the interface between client Programs and OHCs for information gathering, communications, and issue resolution
  • Apply business and technical expertise with knowledge of related disciplines, and demonstrate ingenuity and creativity when providing business or technical solutions to complex problems
  • Exercise considerable latitude in determining business or technical objectives and approaches to work activities
  • Perform periodic roles in Condition Reporting and Resolution System issues resolutions, Management Assessments, Work Site Assessments, and special projects and task teams
  • Perform contract transition support activities as related to OHC Interface/Integration requirements, including disposition, blue sheeting, and/or revising Interface Documents
  • Support development of new integration driven documents as identified in the new contracts

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10 years of related experience
  • Demonstrated facilitator experience, with focus on mediating conflict to ensure project and/or functional program successes
  • Demonstrated activity manager or project lead experience in representing functional area programs, with emphasis on meeting customer expectations
  • Demonstrated activity manager or project lead experience in managing procedures, and other documents, including turnover and blue sheeting during contract transitions
  • Demonstrated understanding of Hanford related projects, operations, training, and procedures
